Clear and Present Danger

There is something that the Federal government seems to ignore but the illegal immigration presents a clear and present danger to the United States. I saw where Bracken had a great picture that depicts the reality. There is a lot of talk about how the illegal immigrants do the work the citizens will not. There also are heart strings being pulled because children were brought here without choice.

The reality is that no matter how someone got here if they are not a legal immigrant they are breaking the law. The problem is that you can not contain those that are intent to do harm if you do not have secure borders.

The other reality is that we can not fiscally support the illegal immigrants once they get here. The Federal government is great at telling the States what they must do, but often do not fully fund it or else only for a certain amount of the time and then leave the States holding the bill.

The States need to refuse to pay the bill and stand up against the Federal government. It is time for more States to recognize the clear and present danger that illegal immigration presents.
