Storey’s Guide to Raising Rabbits by Bob Bennett
Today I wanted to talk about one of the better reference books that you can add to your library in Storey’s Guide to Raising Rabbits by Bob Bennett. This is designed to take the normal person and teach them enough to raise rabbits. This was a fundamental thing for us in deciding whether we wanted to actually raise rabbits. The author tells you about his long rich history of raising rabbits for show and meat production.
This book was the perfect companion for us when we decided to raise rabbits and had to learn all the nuances. We felt very comfortable in undergoing that endeavor and had this book within reach so when we had questions we could quickly answer them. The author does a fantastic job giving you enough information. I am impressed and have come to expect that if it carries the Storey name.
This book was certainly not a disappointment and even three years later we still pull this book out to review information and confirm our memory of a certain aspect. Since this book covers everything from setting up all the way to sales and recipes it has proven to be an invaluable reference. I would encourage anyone that has been thinking about rabbits to give this one a shot.
