Process Some Birds
Yesterday was the day to process some birds. There were four birds that lived to serve their purpose. It has not been too long since they were small little chicks. They will now be food on the dinner table.
They lived a good life and we know exactly what they were fed their entire lives. We control how they were slaughtered and are certain that they served the purpose that God put them here. We have not tallied the cost to raising them, but certain things are priceless.
We value in knowing where our food comes from and how it was raised. If you do not or can not raise your own animals for food then I would encourage you to reach out to your local farmer. There is something about seeing an Old School chicken in the fridge waiting for the dinner plate.
Can you take some pics of the process. We are going to do this at somepoint, but have never done it before..:-)

I wish I had seen this earlier as the process is already over. I do have some more to do later, but I will try and give an overview of how we process birds soon. I will check to see if we have any old pictures to go along with it.
