Hand Made Crackers
If you have you ever been craving some crackers and can not get to the store then hand made crackers will satisfy the need. As with everything else the fact that you know the ingredients and put your own love into it makes them taste much better than anything you can get in the store.
Hand made crackers!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 Tablespoon butter softened
- 1 Tablespoon Crushed Dry Rosemary
- 1/3 Cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 350°
- Mix the first four ingredients with fork.
- Add in the buttermilk, mixing together.
- Roll out on lightly floured cookie sheet until paper thin
- Score with a butter knife
- Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes
These make a delicious treat and I have to give credit to Jane at SurvivorJane.com as she gave me the basic recipe. We have since modified it a little bit to satisfy our taste.
Feel free to try a different cheese or herb with the dough. There is almost an endless combination that is sure to please any palette. That is another benefit to making hand made crackers. You can choose the ingredients and the amounts.
