Water Filter
One of the things on my lists has been a water filter. I love the video review from the wannabee homesteader that I posted earlier. Short of having to raid my rain barrels and filter that or boiling water I have wanted a better water filter.
What kind of water filters are you using? Have you tested them for everyday use or are they on the shelf waiting for a difficult time. I am looking for something that will meet everyday use and provide for the future. I would appreciate any feedback on the filters that you are using.
We got a water filter kit from http://www.srmarketplace.com. It was only about $70 and will filter 1 Million gallons. All you need is a food grade 5 gallon bucket and your good to go. It takes about 5 minutes to set it up. Filter all your rain water or any other type of water you can find in a SHTF situation.
