Prayers go out to all those that were affected by the tornadoes last week across the South.  I know here in North Carolina these were not your common tornado’s.

It has always amazed me how quickly the weather can change after a big storm. It generally tends to be peaceful and quiet.

Saturday evening was no exception as the picture shows what the sky was like after the round of tornadoes. We were very fortunate to be in a 20 mile corridor that missed any of the really bad storms. However the weather on Saturday evening was absolutely beautiful.

I often wonder if the weather calms down as to remind us that everything will be ok. God has a way to calm us and I believe the weather may have something to do with that. The weather after a hurricane in North Carolina is generally calm with bluebird skies. The sky and conditions Saturday night reminded me of something very similar.
