Mama Does Time

The Saturday book review today is Mama Does Time by Deborah Sharp. This was a fun little read that certainly had a lot of twists and turns.The story is set in Central Florida where the lead character Mace Bauer has her dinner interrupted by her Mama calling to tell her she was in jail. The poor detective working the case then had to deal with Mama and her three daughters.

The story twists and turns and the characters are developed very well. You can see these people walking down the street. The storyline is very good as well, but I was left wanting some more details on why the body was actually put in Mama’s trunk.

This story certainly flowed along and kept me guessing what would happen next. I certainly would pick up another book by this author.
