Prepper Community
As scary as it may be the prepper community is what’s going to get you through a disaster. Think of an event or reaction and if you are fortunate to be at home when it happens. Guess what the neighbors are going to play an integral part in your survival and safety. In today’s world we tend to not socialize with our neighbors a lot. You may wave as you drive by, but in a lot of cases you may not even like them.
That may literally scare a lot of people more than about anything else out there. Of course if you have been preparing you most certainly may not want to share everything with your prepper community. They will be on your doorstep looking for hand outs and it will be hard to turn away a hungry child from your door step.
The reason the neighbors will have to be part of your prepper community is that there is no way for one person or small group can provide everything they need or want. You will have to trade or barter with people and depending on the level of disaster it may only be feasible to do it with neighbors.
How does one deal with their prepper community and make it for the best. Let’s take a simplistic approach. It you have neighbors on three sides of you there should be one that you get along better than the others. Make sure you have a contingency plan with them to watch out for each other where the lines meet. If you do not get along with any of the three neighbors than the problem is most likely you and work is needed on your social skills.
Once you get the first plan in place work on to the next one. The reality in the prepper community is that you want a wide range of plans in place. You also will need to have communications so that your long range notifications are ready.
The prepper community that you build now will pay off in spades later. Start today and have a chat with your neighbors before it is too late.
