Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield

I was sad to hear the passing of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield this past Saturday. My prayers and thoughts go out to their loved ones and families that will now have to go on without them. These two gentlemen were taking time away from their families to help out a fellow veteran. There is much that will be said about Chris Kyle as his story is fairly well known. His service to his country and his impact on the television show Stars and Stripes will ensure that his life is not forgotten.

We do not know as much about Chad Littlefield other than he served and was a good enough friend to Chris to be with him that day while they were being a mentor to a fellow veteran. There is no doubt that their families and loved ones will miss them. They died doing a great thing. I hope we do not oversimplify the issue.

I was reading a great article that does a good job of telling the reality by Michael Yon. I would encourage everyone to read it as it just might cause you to think and ponder what the truth may be.
