Generation of meat

Depending on where you live if hunting season is out this time of the year can be slow, but we were blessed with another generation of meat. The rabbits that we have talked about before have blessed us once again with another round of meat.

What other meat can you raise during the winter and get the volume out of it in such a small place. We still get eggs out of the chickens, but the rabbits really put the meat on the table this time of the year. It means something to know where and how the food you are putting in your mouth was treated. I would encourage anyone to consider rabbits in your plans.

Our plans have been to have meat rabbits and we are blessed to have another generation of meat born. We are a long way from our goals, but the rabbits are pulling their weight in putting clean humanely raised meat on the table.
