Boy Scouts of America

The Boy Scouts of America has been admired for making their stand and sticking to it no matter what special interest assaulted it. In the 1990’s it was the atheists and the Scouts stood strong and insisted that God was an integral feature. Now the news comes that plans are in the works to buckle to special interests. An organization that has held duty to God and over 69% of their chartered organizations are faith based is now willing it seems to openly admit gay leaders and members.

This is not a good decision for the Boy Scouts of America and will cause them irreparable harm. They want to leave it up to the sponsor organizations, which is fine and most will not tolerate it, but the reality is the assault will continue as they did not get enough. Once they smell blood in the water there will be no stopping the special interests.

The Boy Scouts of America have an example of an organization that has allowed themselves to be co-opted. The Girl Scouts of America has become an irrelevant organization due to their lack of morals and beliefs and if the Boy Scouts of America wants to sacrifice the Duty to God that we all pledged to obey then they stand a great chance of going the way of the Girl Scouts.

I am proud to have obtained my Eagle Scout and have looked forward to my son getting his Eagle Scout. Since he would be the third generation you can certainly see the impact that the Boy Scouts of America has had in our lives. The reality is that there can be no duty to God with immoral leadership. God encourages a sinner to repent and ask for forgiveness. A person that is practicing an alternative lifestyle has no business being a leader in an organization that has God as a foundational rock.

It is not too late to make our voice heard and save an organization that has been training and equipping young men for over a 100 years. I firmly believe that a strong organization dependent on God is needed for the young men of this country. We should expect nothing less than the results of Sodom and Gomorrah if we do not make a stand. Please call 972-580-2000 and voice your concerns before the next meeting February 4th.
