Verizon Enables Government Abuses

They can say whatever they want but the reality is Verizon enables government abuses if they are handing over the amount of records this recent article indicates. The saddest thing is that I have no doubt they are alone. The audacity of the Federal government to spy on all of us is abusive at the very core.

They use the guise of protecting us, but they are participating in nothing more than data building and modeling. Based on the information available you could logically assume the explanation would be that they are trying to pattern the normal traffic so they can spot abnormal spikes that are threat to the United States.

The reality is that we have allowed the Federal government to become too big and too intrusive. I think most people understand now that their is no form of digital communication that the government can not monitor and record. That alone should make us all worry. There can be no good for from it and we are not better off because of it.

Let us remember that while Verizon enables government abuses it also is up to us. We are tolerating it and that should be changed. Their needs to be changes and the system is rigged to prevent changes.
