Snow Wind Ice
When you mention snow wind ice the last thing you want to have happen is for them to happen in that order. Here in the South we are under the gun of a another winter weather storm. It appears towards the end of it that we may have gotten lucky yet again.
There are lots of areas that can deal with the snow. Despite what many people believe even Southerners can drive in those conditions. There is a difference between needing to drive and expecting perfect road conditions after a fleet of snow plows have gone by. Here in the south we trade lower taxes for less equipment that may go years between uses.
We can deal with the snow and then the wind. The bad way to end a storm is to have freezing rain and bringing the ice. As wet as it has been lately the combination of freezing rain and wind usually does not end well. We have prepared for the possibility of a long term power outage, but currently it appears the weather may have warmed just enough to avoid it here at the homestead. We will gladly send the snow wind ice back to the north.
