Field Day 2014
Today is the start of the annual Field Day where amateur radio operators get out in the field and practice communicating. All locations that can be found on the Field Day 2014 locator are open to the general public. This is your chance to get out and see what it is all about if you have wondered what ham operators do.
The beauty of the yearly field day if you are already a ham radio operator is the fellowship of the operators . I know I look forward to it every year and this year we are cooking a pig and plan on having a great time at Field Day 2014.
I encourage you to get out and join the fun and fellowship. The ARRL can help you find a testing location and now that Morse code id not required I believe any one can get their technician license. Drop me a line if you have any questions or I can assist you in any way. I hope everyone has a great Field Day 2014!
