Ron Paul Iowa highlights fracture in Republican Party

Ron Paul Iowa

Whatever happens with Ron Paul Iowa there is enough information to reveal a fracture in the Republican party.

Ron Paul IowaPolitics is a funny business and makes strange bedfellows. Dr. Ron Paul, who of course is running for President, is a well educated man. After he graduated from Duke University with a degree in Medicine he served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force.

He has delivered over 4,000 babies and spent more than 24 years as a Representative. You would think these qualifications would ensure fair and balanced reporting.

Whether you like him, hate him, agree with some of his points, or think he is crazy the man has proven he is a leader. The passion that he has inspired in people for over 4 years is amazing. Constantly other candidates mention that they have never seen people holding signs for other candidates to the same extent they have for Paul.

Now that many reports are that he will win in Iowa has set off a hailstorm. The media and the mainstream push the caucuses down our throat. We are inundated with election coverage for 1.5 years before an election. I think it is great for the business of media but that is another story.

Last month the ticker was that whatever candidate might win is important and tells people everything they need to know. Now that Ron Paul Iowa, who the media and mainstream Republican Party do not want to win, is leading they are already discounting the caucus.

To me the bigger story is what will happen to the Republican Party if they continue to alienate what is typically referred to as a younger base that supports Ron Paul. These are people that are familiar with the Internet and very passionate about campaigning for their candidate.

You would think that the Republican Party would try to assimilate these people into the Party rather than pushing them away and alienating the leader Ron Paul.

It is evident that there is support in America for Ron Paul and his beliefs as his son Rand Paul is now the Junior Senator from Kentucky.

In addition to Rand there are other campaigning across the land that are inspired by Ron Paul such as Tisha Casida, BJ Lawson, and Glen Bradley who won a State seat and is now gunning for a NC senate seat.

It is evident that the flag has been planted in the ground. I challenge that the outcome to Ron Paul Iowa is a cross roads for the Republican Party. Do they unite with with the Jeffersonians in their party or do they drive them off with their Federalist ways minus a strong Financial base?
