Dutch Oven Stuffed Shells

Dutch Oven Stuffed Shells are a hearty treat no matter how or where the final cooking is done!
Ingredients
  • 20 Jumbo Shells
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 16 ounces Ricotta Cheese
  • 8 ounces Mozzarella shredded
  • 4 ounces Parmesan Raggiano Cheese grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 quart homemade spaghetti sauce
Instructions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Preheat oven to 350° or get coals ready for dutch oven.
  3. Brown Ground Beef and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until brown.
  4. Combine Ricotta, mozzarella, 2 ounces Parmesan Raggiano and egg in a medium bowl.
  5. Stir in beef and garlic mixture.
  6. Spread ¼ quart spaghetti sauce in 13x9 baking dish or dutch oven.
  7. Spoon about ¼ cup cheese meat mixture into each shell.
  8. Arrange shells in a single layer if possible.
  9. Sprinkle any remaining cheese meat mixture over stuffed shells.
  10. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce.
  11. Sprinkle remaining 2 ounces of Parmesan Raggiano over the top.
  12. Bake for 25 minutes, or until heated through in oven or dutch oven.
